BASIC FUNCTIONS:
The RF Antenna Engineer will work with other Electrical Design Engineers, Mechanical Design Engineers, Drafters in developing and supporting aviation antennas.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Basic simulation of antennas in frequencies ranging from VHF to Ku-band in CST or HFSS
- Testing and verifying different Antennas in Anechoic chambers
- Support production with production issues like ATP failures and troubleshooting
- Additional responsibilities as they become necessary.
education, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND experience:
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering or Physics
- 1-3 years of work experience in RF industry
- Work experience in design and testing Antennas, OR Passive RF components and subsystems like combiner, splitter, isolator, attenuator…
- Knowledge of basic Antenna design theory, behavior and fundamentals
- Basic experience with EM simulation tools such as ANSYS HFSS, OR CST
- Theoretical and practical knowledge of RF/Microwave passive components
- Basic working knowledge of RF/Microwave laboratory test equipment for testing of circuit and subsystems
( i.e Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Noise Figure Meters etc.)
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Knowledge of MS Office such as Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple, concurrent tasks and meet strict deadlines.
- The ability to work independently. Able to work with different levels of staff and management.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Punctual and reliable person.
