POSITION TITLE: RIA Regional Consultant/SR. RIA Regional Consultant

POSITION SPECIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor degree required; business related field preferred; Master’s degree, CIMA or CFP preferred
• Minimum 1 year of external sales, hybrid or sales support experience required; 5+ years of external/hybrid sales experience calling on Registered Investment Advisors preferred
• Knowledge of financial markets required
• Experience with RIA firms preferred
• In-depth knowledge of financial products required; Knowledge of Federated Hermes’s products preferred
• Must possess/obtain FINRA Series 7 and 66 immediately
• The experience level of the candidate will determine the level of the position as an RIA Regional Consultant or Sr. RIA Regional Consultant.**

MAJOR DUTIES:

• Conduct systematic sales calls on clients and prospective clients to identify needs, explain Federated Herme’s investment products, processes and staff, operating under general supervision and with some guidance on decision-making.
• Follow-up on client and prospective client contacts and close the sale of investment products with support as needed.
• May develop marketing programs for existing clients to increase assets.
• Coordinate internal resources to further the sales process; i.e., client Portfolio Managers, Portfolio Managers, Client Engagement Center, Portfolio Construction, legal and other support personnel. Provide value-add services to advisors as needed.
• Work closely with internal Federated departments (i.e., Operations, Compliance, Product Development, Legal) to assure proper client servicing, seeking guidance when necessary.
• Maintain up to date client and call activity data in the Federated CRM database (Salesforce).
• Provide management with written and oral feedback on discussions with clients and prospects.
• Attend industry conferences and seminars.
• Entertain clients and prospects as appropriate, with oversight.

HOURS/LOCATION:

• 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (additional hours may be required)
• Territory: CA, NV, AZ
• Will be required to live in territory

The annual base salary range for the RIA Regional Consultant I, II is $70,680 – $130,760; Sr. RIA Regional Consultant is $81,930 – $159,760. In determining salary multiple factors will be taken into consideration such as primary work location, experience, education and skill set.
