| As a member of our Right Now Program, you’ll have the opportunity to work on a temporary basis in one of our esteemed clinical departments. We’re seeking dedicated Medical Assistant (Credentialed/Certified) who thrive in dynamic environments and value flexibility in their day-to-day schedules. In this role, the incumbent will provide just-in-time coverage for clinics experiencing volume increases or last-minute call outs. Variable placements can be in 4 hour of full day increments.
Program participation has a maximum of 900 hours / 26 weeks / 6 months. |
1) High School graduate or equivalent; AND
2) Possession of a current/valid medical assistant certification (CMA, American Association of Medical Assistants; NCMA, National Center for Competency Testing; CCMA, National Healthcareer Associate; or RMA, American Medical Technologists)
3) One year of Medical Assistant (Credentialed/Certified) work experience.
Condition of Employment: Pursuant to the State Universities Civil Service System, an out-of-state resident who is hired into this position must establish Illinois residency within 180 calendar days of their start date.
