EY-Financial Services Risk Management (FSRM)– Risk Consulting –Senior

As part of Risk Consulting, you will be supporting the FSRM Team in client engagements related to Data Analytics, gathering requirements from end users, understanding end user challenges, analysing data, identifying anomalies, developing interactive dashboards/ digital storyboards and presenting the observations/findings for various clients across the MENA region. The client base spans across various sectors and includes collaboration with other teams within Consulting services.

The opportunity

We’re looking for a Senior Consultant with experience in Business Intelligence, Data Science and Data Analytics to join our Risk Consulting Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a leading firm whilst being instrumental in the growth of our service offering. This position will be based out of our offices (Kochi/ Thiruvananthapuram) in the beautiful state of Kerala.

Working with our team, you will have the opportunity to work with clients to provide data driven insights, highlight anomalies, create efficiency through automation, thus, gaining valuable experience in a variety of clients.

You will work within different sized, multi-disciplinary teams and play a key role in ensuring high quality outputs and service to our clients. The role involves developing knowledge and implementing new solutions in order to meet the ever-changing needs of our clients.

Your key responsibilities

• Consultants are project team members who will be involved in performing Data Analytics for Middle East clients on an offshore or onshore basis.
• Manage multiple assignments and related project teams.
• Understand the client’s business & related industry issues / trends.
• Develop strong working relationships with the client and onshore client teams
• Maintain excellent rapport and proactive communication with the client
• Gather requirement from the end user, understand their challenges, identify anomalies, develop interactive dashboards/ digital storyboards and present the observations/findings to the end user.
• Perform data extraction from Client environment, perform data wrangling, data profiling and data synthesis
• Perform data analytics using Python, Power BI or other BI tools, must have excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. Use Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning modules to analyse data and generate insights.
• Good experience in handling big volume of data.
• Good to have experience in performing data governance and data maturity assessment.
• Good to have experience in automation and creating efficiency using Excel VBA, UiPath/ Blue Prism, Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Interact confidently with the onshore team leads for the ongoing requirements of the project.
• Consistently deliver quality client services and take charge of the project area assigned to him/her.
• Monitor progress, manage risk and verify key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes.
• Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and knowledge.
• Demonstrate agility, willingness to learn and explore new areas/domains.
• Possess good business acumen and up to date on new developments in analytics services capabilities and industry knowledge.
• Knowledge of ERP systems such as Oracle/SAP is a plus.
• Good to have experience in Risk Management or other Risk Consulting engagements
• The job would require travel (Over 50%) to client locations in Middle East and North Africa such as Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Muscat, Kuwait, Riyadh, Al Khobar, Bahrain, etc.
• Participate and support business development initiatives.
• Demonstrate application and solution-based approach to problem solving while executing client engagements and documenting working papers.
• Mentor and coach junior team members, enabling them to meet their performance goals and successfully grow their careers.
• Manage the engagement budgets and support superiors in developing marketing collaterals, business proposals and new solution / methodology development.

Skills and attributes for success

• Proficient in SQL, Python, Power BI, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence
• Good to have experience in ETL, Generative AI, Tableau, Alteryx.
• Exceptional command over spoken and written English.
• Globally mobile and flexible to travel to onsite locations at a short notice.
• Highly analytical, organised, and meticulous consulting skills; attention to detail and quality assurance.
• Demonstrate strong project management skills, inspiring teamwork, and responsibility with engagement team members.
• Ability to multi-task, work well under pressure with commitment to deliver under tight deadline.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize effectively.
• Strong academic history (B.Tech. with work experience in similar industry, Big 4 preferred)

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in any stream
• 3 to 6 years of experience working with business consulting firms
• A valid passport for travel.

Preferably, you may also have

• Experience / certifications in Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning, Data Engineering, Data Governance, Automation (UiPath, BluePrism)
• Experience in developing User Interface/User Experience
