Job Summary
The Case Manager Specialist is a registered nurse within the Occupational Health Case Management Team. The Case Management team provides services (assessment, planning, implementation, coordination, monitoring, and evaluating care) for short-term disability, long-term disability, family medical leaves, and worker’s compensation cases both internally and externally. Providing exceptional service for employers, patient/employees, and all members of the health care team is the expectation of the Case Management Team. All members are expected to focus on the needs of the employer, employee/patient; relate to all in a friendly, accepting manner; communicate in a positive and professional way; use time effectively and efficiently; and demonstrate an overall high level of performance. The Case Manager Working Supervisor is a Registered Nurse who is responsible for assisting the Manager of Work Comp Employer Relations with the administration, coordination, and function of the Case Management team. The case management team focus is the coordination of services to achieve quality care in a cost effective manner. The case management team provides services (assessment, planning, implementation, coordination, monitoring and evaluating care) for short term disability, family medical leave and workers compensation cases both internally and externally.
