$46.89 – $83.37

$4,000 SIGN ON BONUS for RNs with minimum of 2 years behavioral health experience.

Overlake Medical Center and Clinics is seeking a part-time Nurse for the In-patient Behavior Health Unit. This is a 14-bed acute voluntary Psychiatric Unit specializing in crisis intervention for adult patients. Our average length of stay is 3-5 days.

0.8 FTE

Evenings

8 Hour Shift

Includes every other Sunday

Responsibilities

• Provides quality patient care to patients on voluntary inpatient unit.
• Administers medications, provides wound care, monitors patients for medication efficacy and symptom improvement..
• Works with treatment team to create a therapeutic milieu.
• Assists with discharge and admission processes.
• Works as Charge RN on some shifts.
• Screens patients for admission on some shifts.

Qualifications 

• Associates in nursing, BSN preferred.
• Current WA state RN license required.
• Healthcare provider CPR Certification required.
• One year of psychiatric nursing experience preferred
• Excellent leadership, customer service and communication skills/experience.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Triage experience preferred.
