experience with Trach/Vent care and prior work with paraplegic, quadriplegic, or TBI patients is a plus!

position Summary

The Registered Nurse provides the highest quality of nursing care to private duty clients by following the individualized Plan of Care, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities

• Complete start-of-care admissions and supervisory visits

• Travel within the Treasure Coast as required

• Provide safe, effective nursing and personal care based on the Plan of Care

• Administer medications and perform skilled nursing tasks within scope of practice

• Assist with transferring, positioning, catheter care, and mobility needs

• Communicate promptly regarding changes in medical status or emergencies

• Coordinate care with the Nurse Supervisor / Clinical Manager

• Escort clients to and from appointments or activities as requested

• Conduct occasional client assessments and supervisory visits

• Demonstrate empathy, professionalism, attention to detail, and sound clinical judgment

Required Experience & education

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license

• Level 2 AHCA Clearinghouse clearance

• TB test (within last 12 months) or Chest X-ray (within last 5 years)

• Home care experience

• Strong communication, teamwork, and customer service skills

• Ability to use an electronic health record (EHR) for documentation and care coordination
