Job Overview:

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated RN with a passion for the OR. Join our Peri-OP Training Program at Community Medical Center.

Community Medical Center, is a 592-bed, fully accredited acute care hospital offering area residents world-class medical treatment with the comforts of hometown care. Opened in 1961, CMC has evolved into the state’s newest teaching hospital with four residency programs and Ocean County’s largest and most active health care facility-caring for over 21,500 inpatients, 178,000 outpatients and 73,700 emergency department patients each year.

Qualifications:

Required:

• RN Degree
• NJ RN License
• At least one year acute care experience
• Must be able to arrive within 30 minutes for on-call
• BLS (American Heart Association)

Preferred:

• BSN

Scheduling Requirements:

39 week training Program combining classroom and clinical orientation

On Call & weekend rotation & shift assignment at completion of the Program

Essential Functions:

• Excellent opportunity for an experienced RN with a passion for the OR
• Will be trained to scrub and circulate in all specialties
• Will care for our patients having surgery and procedures in the OR
