Job Overview: The Psychiatric Inpatient program at Trinitas Regional Medical Center (TRMC) is composed of six inpatient units with a total bed capacity of 110. The inpatient program admits patients five years of age or older who meet the criteria for inpatient admission. The program provides 24-hour-a-day, multidisciplinary, intensive treatment for patients with acute psychiatric disorders, cognitive impairment, and patients with autism and intellectual disabilities with varying medical complexities. The inpatient behavioral health services offer people with acute psychiatric crises who urgently require a safe environment, a supportive and structured milieu, and intensive psychiatric and physiological therapeutic intervention. The treatment program combines these elements into a unique and effective treatment program

The RWJBarnabas HealthNew Graduate RN ResidencyProgram is a one-year program that provides new graduate RN’s with a safe, caring, supportive and robust learning environment. Our goal is to allownew graduate nurses the opportunityto gain additional clinical competenciesto achieve a stress-free transition from student to professional practice. Scheduling Requirements:

• Day or Evening Shift
• Full Time
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation

Qualifications:

• Active New Jersey RN License or pending RN license (with completed NCLEX exam) required.
• A new graduate of an accredited Nursing Program with less than 6 months of RN experience is required.
• Associate’s Degree required; BSN preferred.
• An American Heart Association BLS prior to the start date is required.
• Career interest in Behavioral Health specialties is highly preferred.
