Summary:
40%: Molecular biology: Designing genetic constructs, building plasmids, characterizing genotype of plants
50%: Greenhouse studies and analytical chemistry: growing plants, designing PFAS experiments, quantifying PFAS uptake
10%: Communication: generating lab reports and other written or oral communication.

Qualifications:

BS in Biochemistry and experience in plant phytoextraction of PFAS

Required Qualifications:
*Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Chemistry or related field, or a combination of education and work experience equal to four years.

*Includes recent graduates

Preferred:

Ability to make GE tobacco, pennycress, and sorghum

Pay Range: $20 – 24/hr; depending on education/qualifications/experience
