The Safety Manager – Transportation is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal transportation regulations. This role aims to promote a culture of safety and prevent accidents and injuries among drivers, fleet personnel, and other transportation staff.
Key Responsibilities:
 

Preferred Skills
· Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety, Transportation Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
· 3+ years of safety management experience in transportation, logistics, or a related industry.
· Strong knowledge of DOT, FMCSA, OSHA, and applicable state transportation laws.
· Experience with safety auditing, accident investigation, and training delivery.
· Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
· Proficiency with standard office applications (word, excel, PowerPoint)
· Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred but not required.
