Base Pay Range: $23.84 – $32.78

The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.

Position Summary

This position is responsible for directly supporting Sales Directors on sales order status and tracking, managing sales orders and expedites, sales process improvements, data management, and providing support for customer service.

This position reports to the Director of Sales and Customer Operations

What You’ll Be Doing

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working both individually and collaboratively, staying on top of tasks, and making a meaningful impact across teams and projects. Below are some key responsibilities of the role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for direct support of Sales Directors on order inquiries, tracking sales order changes, and running management reports.
  • Critical thinking through complex scenarios where you apply end-to-end thinking to support all aspects of Sales operations.
  • Researching sales orders to provide information on where orders are in the manufacturing process, when they will arrive at the customer or distributor, and communicating the updates with the sales team.
  • Working with respective teams on order status and order scheduling (Business Unit’s (BU’s), planners, demand planners).
  • Managing sales expedites.
  • Manage customer or distributor portals: Purchase Orders for Order Entry, Sales Order Acknowledgements, Advanced Shipment Notices, Promise Dates, Invoices, Order Changes, etc.
  • Managing large orders of high importance for Regional Sales Director’s (RSD’s) and Area Sales Manager’s (ASM’s) including forecasting, scheduling, and tracking order status.
  • Primary contact for constraint holds management and secondary support for constraint hold releases.
  • Support resource for customer service as backup for order entry, responding to emails in shared inboxes, providing guidance on challenging inquiries, and responding to chats
  • Suggest sales process improvements.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What You Bring to the Table

Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3 or more years of experience in a customer service role
  • Experience working with end-users, manufacturers’ representatives, distributors, and sales managers preferred

Preferred

  • Post-secondary education preferred (Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree)
  • Background in customer service or demand planning roles
  • Experience working with Oracle and Salesforce
  • Intermediate knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office Suite programs
  • Takes initiative and is a great team player
  • Ability to be flexible when needed and takes ownership of their work
  • Good communicator and strong organization and time management skills
  • Willingness to work with cross functional teams
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines to maintain great business relationships

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities
