Located in Meridian, ID
Salary: $20-25/hr.
Express Employment is seeking a sales support specialist for a health insurance provider. Job duties include:
- Supporting the Medicare Advantage/individual products sales teams as previously enrolled Medicare Advantage members will be calling in to re-enroll, find a broker recommendation, and/or be escalated to licensed sales team member
- Fielding a high-volume amount of phone calls, answering questions and supporting from scripted call-flow, and/or routing the call to the appropriate team member
- Maintaining knowledge of all individual products in company’s portfolio
- Documenting and tracking all sales leads and follow-up activity in the lead tracking system
- Completing all applications and documentation required for internal processes in a timely and accurate manner to ensure efficient enrolment of members
- Assisting in the promotion and participation of sales initiatives as well as community outreach related to the promotion of health awareness
- Supporting heavy phone call volume; following call/workflow script while assisting caller with resolution and/or routing to appropriate team member for resolution
- Completing all applications and documentation required for internal processes to ensure enrollment of individuals
Required skillset includes:
- Very high comfort level on phones (very similar to call center environment)
- 2+ years of experience in a call center, a position requiring a heavy call volume, the healthcare industry, health insurance, and/or health benefits
- Proficiency with computers and data input
- State of Idaho Insurance License (life/health/disability) is a plus
Other details:
- Pay rate is $20-25/hr. DOE
- Position is onsite
- Schedule is Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
- There will likely be some overtime hours during evenings and/or weekends during open enrollment
- Position is seasonal and estimated to end February 2026
