Job Title: Sanitation Worker

Employment Type: Full-Time
Pay Rate: $17.50/ hour – $18.75/ hour
Shift: Afternoon Shift 2:00p – 10:20p
We are seeking a dedicated Sanitation Worker to join our team and help maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and safety within our production facility.
position Summary:
The Sanitation Worker is responsible for cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining production areas, equipment, and workspaces to ensure compliance with company standards and other regulatory requirements. This role is critical to maintaining product quality, employee safety, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform cleaning and sanitizing of production equipment, floors, walls, and other facility areas according to established procedures.
- Disassemble and reassemble production equipment for thorough cleaning.
- Safely handle and properly use cleaning chemicals in accordance with OSHA and company safety guidelines.
- Follow daily and weekly sanitation schedules to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Complete required documentation for cleaning tasks and inspections.
- Assist with pest control, waste removal, and other sanitation-related duties.
- Maintain safe work practices and immediately report hazards, spills, or unsafe conditions to a supervisor.
- Work collaboratively with production and quality assurance teams to ensure a clean and safe environment.
Qualifications:
- Previous sanitation or industrial cleaning experience preferred, but not required (training provided).
- Ability to work in wet, humid, and non temperature-controlled environments.
- Capable of performing physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime, as needed.
