Sanitation Worker

3rd Shift

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is willing to improve their skills in the Sanitation Department. A popular food manufacturing company in Pomona looking for people like you to join their team. This is a long term position, so reliability and dependability and experience is a must.

• Pay Rate: $17.50 3rd Shift = 10:00PM – 6:30AM
• Monday-Friday + Sundays, Must be flexible to work OT as needed.

The daily tasks include, but are not limited to the following:

• Sanitizing Machine Parts with chemicals
• Cleaning Sweeping
• Follow safety guidelines and proper PPE (personal protective equipment)
• Follow standard work instructions as assigned
• Proper handling of cleaning and sanitizing materials and equipment
• Knowledge of GMP’s (good manufacturing practices)
• Perform hands-on tasks
• Maintain clean and organized workspace
• Troubleshoot issues
• Work in a team environment

Job Requirements

• Minimum 6 months relevant Sanitation experience
• Attention to detail
• Lift up to 50lbs, stand, bend, and reach
• Able to use basic hand and power tools
• Basic Math
• Mechanical aptitude
• PPE required: Nonslip shoes, masks, hairnets, aprons, gloves, etc.
