About the role

As an SAP Industry Solution for Utility (ISU) Finance Contract Accounting (FICA) Functional Architect, you will lead and collaborate in the design of innovative billing processes by leveraging the latest technologies to enable the improvement of business processes. You will be responsible for the integration of external prepayment solutions primarily to SAP FICA and Billing, and lead customer workshops and document business process designs on S/4HANA implementations for Utilities.

In this role, you will:

• Lead and collaborate in the design of innovative billing processes by leveraging the latest technologies.
• Conduct gap/business needs analysis, design, configuration, build, test, debug, convert, cutover, and support of business process areas.
• Integrate external prepayment solutions primarily to SAP FICA and Billing.
• Lead customer workshops and document business process designs on S/4HANA implementations for Utilities.
• Write functional specifications, configure the system, and problem solve.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including technical developers and business analysts.
• Provide expert guidance on utilities industry best practices and regulatory compliance within credit and collections.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues during deployment and post-go-live phases.
• Demonstrate a proven track record of successful SAP IS-U project delivery in a consulting environment.
• Exhibit excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Work model: remote with travel to Phoenix, AZ

Salary and Other Compensation

The annual salary for this position is between $159,000 – $186,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
