Our Quebec based client is seeking a Bi-Lingual SAP SD Senior Manager to join their organization on a full time permanent basis. This will be a hybrid work setting with the exact number of on-site and remote days to be confirmed.
The SAP SD Senior IT Manager works with a team (application director, functional experts, functional analysts and external consultants) responsible for implementing the business processes of his sector, particularly in the Commercial component (SAP SD/Order to Cash).
The Senior SAP SD Manager will be responsible for the complete management of projects related to the SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) module and related technologies VIM OpenText and Vistex.
The candidate will work closely with functional and technical teams to understand user needs and determine which features to implement or improve.
Ensure the configuration, parameterization and customization of the SD module to meet the specific requirements of the company.
Train end users on the use of SAP SD and provide support in case of questions or issues.
Participate in the design and implementation of SAP SD solutions to optimize sales, distribution and inventory management processes.
Manage a team of business analysts and users to understand their needs and different business imperatives.
Analyze change requests, assess impacts and technological issues and produce functional requirements (forms, data, interfaces, reports).
Participate in the prioritization of requests with the functional team and business units.
Make necessary adjustments in the SAP configuration and supervise necessary developments as needed.
Maintain up-to-date documentation relating to the configuration and development of SAP and other related systems.
Ensure the integrity of information by establishing different documentation, testing (unit and integrated) and production implementation strategies.
Communicate in a team environment with business units and IT sectors (development and technical).
Support and train super users to maximize the use and configuration of the SAP system and other business solutions.
Understand the integrations between SAP ecosystem and different order taking platforms such as WeGo Trade, Oracle Cloud, Five9.
Work effectively with ABAP teams and also external resources from our support provider.
Bilingualism in French and English, spoken and written is MANDATORY.
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, business administration or related field preferred.
Experience in implementing, supporting, maintaining and improving ERP-type software packages in manufacturing organizations and distribution centers.
Good knowledge of SAP, ideally S4 in the RISE environment.
5 to 10 years of experience with SAP SD module.
Experience with S4 version in RISE environment an asset.
Knowledge and experience of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and problem solving.
Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Strong knowledge of SAP SD technology including configuration, customization and best practices.
In-depth understanding of business processes related to sales, distribution and logistics.
