Set up and operate saw equipment (band saw, circular saw, or other cutting machinery) to cut metal, wood, or other materials according to specifications
Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and cutting lists to determine dimensions and tolerances
Measure and mark materials to ensure accurate cuts
Adjust machine settings, blades, guides, and stops to maintain precision and efficiency
Inspect materials before and after cutting to verify quality and dimensional accuracy
Perform routine maintenance on saw equipment, including blade changes and basic troubleshooting
Safely load, position, and secure materials for cutting operations
