• The ability to climb scaffold, ladders, and stairs on a repetitive basis is necessary to perform the day-to-day functions of a Scaffold Helper.
• Scaffold Helper should also have a fair knowledge of system, and tube and clamp scaffold equipment.
• They must also be able to tie appropriate knots as they pertain to hoisting and rigging scaffold components. (Bowline, timber hitch & clove hitch)
• Other Scaffold Helper duties may include:
• Receiving and returning material to scaffold yard/Client-down.
• Knowledge of quality control checks and inspections.
• Knowledge of scaffold hand signals.
• Knowledge of material handling techniques.
• Basing out and erecting scaffold towers, hangers and cantilevers.
• Installing toe boards, guardrails, ladders, etc. on scaffold towers and low-level cantilevers.
• Perform general laborer duties which pertain to the scaffold trade.

• High school diploma or GED, preferred.
• Must have at least 2 years of experience in the Scaffold trade.
• Bilingual Communication, preferred.
