We are looking to appoint a highly organised, flexible and self-motivated School Business Manager to join our busy school office. The successful candidate will work in close partnership with the Headteacher and efficiently mange our school administration and office. You will have excellent communication and ICT skills with the ability to adapt to the demands of working in a busy school office. The ideal candidate will be expected to demonstrate a high level of professional and confidentiality at all times. - GCSE English and Maths Grade C or above or equivalent
Desirable Qualifications
- School Business Management Qualification e.g. (CSBM), diploma
Essential Experience
- Being responsible for the business and financial management of school resources
- To have experience in financial budget preparation and planning
- To manage school’s HR requirements (staff contracts, payroll, personnel files)
- To be familiar with school management systems e.g. SIMS
- Manage and implement the school’s health and safety policies
- Managing a support staff team e.g. welfare team, site staff
Desirable Experience
- Managing the facilities, including premises, lettings and liaising with external contractors
- Attendance and contribution at senior leadership meetings
- To have experience for managing the school’s ICT provision
