The Schusterman Center for Jewish Studies seeks to develop a pool of candidates for possible temporary/nontenured positions to teach undergraduate courses. Positions are not available every semester and are contingent upon student enrollment and the availability of funding. Appointments are usually made on a semester-by-semester basis, though sometimes there is need for an annual appointment. Positions are renewable annually, contingent upon funding and performance.
Ph.D. in Jewish Studies or a related field and previous teaching experience with a record of teaching excellence preferred. Professional/occupational experience relevant to Jewish Studies is preferred.
