Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver inspiring and engaging Science lessons across KS3 to KS5, ensuring a clear understanding of scientific concepts and methods.
  • Develop and maintain lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs and learning styles of students.
  • Encourage independent thinking and scientific curiosity while focusing on practical and theoretical aspects of science.
  • Monitor student progress and provide tailored support and feedback to help them improve.
  • Participate in extracurricular science-related activities, clubs, and projects to further enhance the students’ learning experience.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment, ensuring all students feel valued and respected.

About You:
To be considered for the Science Teacher role, you will need:

  • A degree in Science or a related subject.
  • A formal teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent) and QTS.
  • A passion for teaching science and inspiring students to explore and excel in the subject.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to build relationships with students.
  • A commitment to fostering a nurturing and inclusive environment where every student feels supported and challenged.
