An enthusiastic and dedicated Science Teacher is required to join an Outstanding Mixed school in Enfield. The successful candidate will inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4 with a broad and engaging science curriculum, fostering their curiosity and understanding of the natural world.Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Science Teacher lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, covering Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
• Prepare students effectively for GCSE Science examinations, ensuring a strong foundational understanding of scientific principles.
• Foster a stimulating and inquiry-based learning environment that encourages scientific exploration and critical thinking.
• Assess and monitor student progress in Science, providing clear and constructive feedback to support their learning journey.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Science or one of the core science disciplines.
• Demonstrated experience teaching Science at Key Stages 3 and 4.
• A strong and comprehensive knowledge of the secondary science curriculum and effective teaching methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining scientific concepts clearly and engagingly to students of varying abilities.
