This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and families, and is passionate about their health and wellbeing.   • promoting public health initiatives for example BFI, family partnership working, speech language andcommunication and parenting programmes
  • assessing the emotional wellbeing of parents, carers, infants and child
  • monitor and assess growth of infants 0-5 years
  • Delivering packages of care e.g. healthy weight and nutrition, toileting, behaviour and sleep
  • Identifying tongue tie and completing onward referral
  • undertake family health needs assessment
  • support child development through the completion of ASQ and social emotional questionnaires
  • provide advice on vaccinations
  • managing a caseload of families
  • focusing on high impact areas set out in the healthy child programme
  • Safeguarding of children and families
