Sealcoat Crew Laborer

Job Description:

The paving and pavement maintenance crew member will perform tasks involving physical labor at parking lots and roadways by operating one or several types of maintenance equipment and/or hand tools. This position may also require routine repair and maintenance of equipment in addition to other duties.
Sealcoat Crew Laborer
Responsibilities include:

Use of a push blower and/or wire broom to clean surface prior to Application of sealcoat material
• Application of sealcoat material utilizing a long handed squeegee and/or spray wand
• Manual labor including shoveling, brooming and raking
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualification/requirement:

• Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions including heat, cold, wind, rain, and dusty environments
• Be willing to work weekends when necessary
• Be able to work overtime when required
• Must have strong work ethic
• Ability to work in a team setting
• Communication skills: ability to communicate with supervisors, co-workers, contractors and the general public in a courteous, professional manner at all times
• Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures
