ICF is hiring a Seasonal Associate, Market Research and Data Analytics, for ongoing part-time support to its Federal Enterprise Accounts and capture (FEAC) team. You will work on multiple projects and interact with the company’s market research and accounts targeting the federal professional services and digital modernization market. This research and data analytics position with ICF is a great opportunity to jump-start your career in government contracting and consulting. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with an analytical ability and curious mind who is interested in learning on the job.

Under the supervision of an experienced market analyst, you will be responsible for leading key tasks and assisting in the performance of ICF’s federal teams by collecting data, quantitatively and qualitatively analyzing data, and disseminating information through reports and projects. You will apply your academic knowledge and gain exposure to major projects that cross-cut all of ICF’s capabilities in public health, health science, digital modernization and transformation, data analytics, and many others. Your most important contribution will be helping to actively support the strategic planning and go-to-market strategies that support our public sector growth at ICF.

This position is part-time (up to 20 hours per week) and is ongoing based on business needs (but is expected to start by late October 2025). Work may be completed remotely from any U.S. location, or hybrid from our Reston, VA. headquarters. At this time, relocation assistance is not available for this position.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with a Strategic Market Analyst and assist in various market research analyses and tasks;

• Effectively curate daily and weekly contract feeds, under the supervision of an Analyst but with a high degree of independence and initiative;

• Analyze large data sets from federal contracting databases, identifying key information and presenting the results;

• Complete quick-turnaround ad hoc research requests for a variety of internal stakeholders;

• Attend virtual conferences and webinars related to industry topics, reporting back summary results to a wider team.

Basic Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in business, data analytics, economics, or similarly related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous practical experience with data analytics;

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and analyzing large scale data sets;

• Ability to learn and quickly master extracting the relevant data from various federal databases;

• Ability to be flexible and multi-task, completing shorter research asks while maintaining a long-term process improvement project.

Pay Range – There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.

The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:

$32,591.00 – $55,405.00
