Secondary Supply Teacher – IverSupply Desk are working in the Iver area to hire a Secondary Supply Teacher who has prior experience, or is a newly qualified Secondary Supply Teacher and has the passion to be teaching as well as having the skill to motivate the pupils in the classroom and keep them engaged. The role is flexible to work when you need to and we are offering competitive rates.Role: Secondary Supply TeacherLocation: IverDuties vary but can include:

• Support with teacher duties/deliver lessons and manage classroom
• Help pupils develop and learn while helping the pupils through challenges
• Supervising pupils in the playground, dining hall, cloakrooms and in class
• Helping students develop life skills and encourage them to have a positive outlook
• Keeping records of each pupil’s progress
• Working 1-1 with students, in small groups or helping with a class collectively
• Expected to know the secondary national curriculum at a high level
• Adapting teaching methods and materials to meet the needs of different classes and student abilities
• Establishing and maintaining discipline and behaviour management strategies consistent with school policies
• Adapting quickly to new environments, routines, and teaching styles

To register for supply work, you MUST meet the following criteria:

• Hold QTS / PGCE or the equivalent (Unqualified Teachers also welcome to apply)
• Hold, or be willing to carry out, an enhanced DBS
• Be able to provide professional references to cover you for at least 2 years.
• Be a dynamic and enthusiastic teacher.
• Have good classroom management and ability to engage a diverse range of pupil abilities.
• Be flexible and willing to go the extra mile to support pupil progress
• Able to meet new people and build relationships
• Able to commute to and from Iver
