Job Overview:

This Temporary Secretary position for the Radiation Oncology department, the Secretary will provide clerical support to the department while performing a variety of secretarial duties.

Qualifications:

Required:

• High School Diploma or GED

Preferred:

• Minimum of 2 years secretarial / hospital experience preferred
• Computer and typing skills
• Verbal and written communications

Certifications and Licenses Required:

• N/A

Scheduling Requirements:

• Per Diem
• Days

Essential Functions:

• Answers telephones ,screens calls and routes to appropriate party in accordance with hospital policy
• Maintains the confidentiality, security and integrity of employee information according to the hospital policy and procedure
• Maintains the department’s filing system and the computer data base
• Orders office supplies and maintains an adequate amount in keeping with the department’s budget
• Sorts and distributes all incoming and outgoing mail
• Types correspondences, memoranda’s and reports
