As a Security Guard Badge Check Patrol in Brooklyn, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a government services location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, entry points, common areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location by observing visitor movement, verifying authorized entry, and/or communicating with staff regarding site procedures and security-related concerns.
• Support a professional environment by assisting staff and visitors with directions, de-escalating tense interactions when appropriate, and reporting maintenance, life emergency, and/or policy-related issues.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
