As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that may help to deter security-related incidents. You will respond to concerns, document observations, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors while delivering customer service. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, disturbances, medical events and/or suspicious activity.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, drive-up lanes and perimeter doors to help to deter unauthorized access and/or criminal activity.
• Control access to restricted areas by verifying identification, monitoring visitor and vendor entry and/or exit and maintaining awareness of key control and authorized access lists.
• Complete required reports such as shift logs and incident documentation, communicate with client representatives and/or law enforcement as needed and support opening and closing procedures per site-specific policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 2+ years’ law enforcement/military police/corrections experience.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
