As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a busy healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to reduce security-related incidents. You will support staff and visitors through clear communication, responsive customer service, and accurate reporting. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, donors, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of interior areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and/or operational concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, directing authorized persons to appropriate areas while reporting unauthorized access attempts.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing assistance within scope and contacting site leadership and/or public emergency services as needed.
• Document security-related activities, patrol observations, and incident details in written reports and/or electronic logs, and communicate noteworthy information to site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer Service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
