As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver in Durham, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and facility operations. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while reflecting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture through teamwork and integrity.

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

Provide customer service to staff, donors, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a healthcare plasma collection location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility interior, exterior, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, documenting and reporting incidents, policy violations, and/or suspicious activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site personnel and emergency responders as appropriate.
• Complete detailed activity logs, patrol reports, and incident documentation while maintaining a professional presence in a healthcare environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
