Position Highlights:

• Primary Locations: Hesburgh Library, Main and East Entrance Gates, Main Building, Basilica, Snite Museum, and Raclin Murphy Museum of Art
• Shifts Available: Days, Afternoons, and Midnights
• Training: Provided for the following locations: Hesburgh Library, Main and East Entrance Gates, Main Building, Basilica, Snite Museum, and Raclin Murphy Museum of Art

Responsibilities:

• Observe, protect, patrol, and enforce rules to ensure safety
• Provide exceptional customer service, assist visitors with directions and information
• Control access, monitor ingress/egress, lock/unlock doors, and manage alarm systems
• Handle keys, conduct walkthroughs, use radio communication, answer phones, monitor CCTV, and complete paperwork
• Report unusual circumstances and respond to emergencies following established guidelines
• Attend mandatory training sessions
• Stay informed about campus events to assist guests

Requirements:

• Up to 900 hours per year
• Strong customer service background or interest

Minimum Qualifications

• Basic computer knowledge and skills are required.
• Work schedule may include a variety of days and hours.
• Availability to work early and late hours along with some holidays is required. 
• Availability to work over night hours is preferred for the Hesburgh Library.
• Must be available on football home game Saturdays.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong customer service and/or retail background is preferred.
