As a Security Officer – Commercial Building – Full Time in Nashville, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as a driving patrol officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff through strong customer service and communication. What You’ll Do:

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and reporting concerns to site leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including hallways, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations, as working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by observing visitor activity, verifying permitted access, and reporting unusual behavior.
• Support a professional healthcare environment by assisting with de-escalation, directing foot traffic, and communicating clearly with staff, patients, and emergency personnel as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Security experience of at least 6 months is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
