As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a commercial real estate environment, you will conduct regular patrols and stay visible throughout the location to help to deter security-related incidents. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to site procedures.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, exits, and visitor activity as required by site policies.
• Support Allied Universal and client personnel during emergencies and/or drills by following response protocols and providing assistance as needed.
• Remain alert and observant while on duty to help to deter potential issues and provide a visible security-related presence throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A current guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
