Security Officer – CRE Patrols

As a Security Officer – Condo Patrol in Chicago, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to alarms and/or service requests, document observations, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors while delivering a strong customer experience. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disputes, access concerns, and medical facility disruptions, and communicate updates to site leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout interior corridors, waiting areas, parking areas, and building perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points, restricted areas, and after-hours activity; assist with visitor wayfinding and badge or pass processes per site policy.
• Document and report incidents, observations, and maintenance or hazard concerns using required logs and/or reporting systems, and coordinate with local responders when directed by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
