As a Security Officer – Downtown Buidling in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication. What You’ll Do:

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with property management and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, common areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help identify security-related concerns and/or maintenance issues.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help observe visitor activity, support access control practices, and report suspicious behavior or unauthorized persons.
• Complete routine reports, logs, and incident documentation, and relay important information during shift changes to support consistent security-related operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
