As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at an educational location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for students, staff, and visitors. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the educational environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the campus and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with students, staff, and visitors while representing Allied Universal.
• Document and report security-related incidents or unusual observations according to site protocols.
• Support a welcoming and orderly atmosphere for all individuals on the premises.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
