As a Security Officer – Financial Desk Monitor in Malvern, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more.

As a Front Desk Security Officer at a leading financial institution, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming and secure environment for all visitors and staff. Your responsibilities will include managing access control, verifying identification badges, and providing outstanding customer service as the first point of contact. You will help to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence and attentive communication. Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors at the front desk by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of employees, visitors, and vendors as required.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
• Maintain accurate records of all activities and incidents at the front desk, including visitor logs and incident reports.
• Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, including communicating with site personnel and emergency responders.
• Answer and direct phone calls and/or inquiries to the appropriate personnel or department.
• Help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity through attentive front desk presence and communication.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
