As a Security Officer – Flex – Tech Facility in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. You will conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols, complete detailed reports, assist with access control, and respond to security-related incidents with strong customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license, offering a fast-paced environment where agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity matter.

What You’ll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a tech, media, and/or telecom location.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance and/or security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and security-related systems such as alarms, cameras, and/or badge activity as assigned, and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations while maintaining a professional presence.
- Document patrol activity, incidents, and daily events in written reports and/or electronic logs, and coordinate with site personnel and responding public services as directed by post orders.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
