Security Officer – Mobile Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer – Mobile Patrol Driver in Stevenson, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols and vehicle rounds, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support access control and visitor flows. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. You will deliver a customer-first experience through clear communication, teamwork, and integrity, bringing an agile and reliable presence to every shift with Allied Universal.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out post orders, security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, yards, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or maintenance concerns for reporting.
• Control access through gates, docks, and entry points by checking identification, logging visitors and contractors, and directing deliveries to designated areas per site policy.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, disturbances, and/or medical events, and notify appropriate contacts as needed.
• Complete accurate reports, logbook entries, and incident documentation, and communicate observations and status updates to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
