As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related concerns, and respond to calls for service with calm, clear communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license, supporting patrol coverage across the campus. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned areas, including corridors, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter, noting unusual activity and helping to deter policy violations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and coordinating notifications to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
• Monitor access points and public areas, helping to maintain orderly traffic flow, supporting visitor guidance, and reporting suspicious behavior and/or hazards to site leadership.
• Complete reports and logs, document incidents and observations, and communicate relevant information during shift handoffs to support continuity of security-related operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR Certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
