Security Officer – Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver in Pekin, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You’ll Do:

Provide customer service to all visitors, contractors, and/or employees by following site-specific procedures and supporting security-related protocols at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and support emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout assigned buildings, operational areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report suspicious conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and document security-related events, observations, and/or escalations in a timely manner.
• Communicate with site contacts, supervisors, and/or first responders regarding incidents, hazards, equipment concerns, and other conditions that may impact daily operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
