Security Officer – Real Estate Patrol

As a Security Officer – Real Estate Patrol in Baltimore, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more .

In the commercial real estate location, our Patrol Unarmed Officers play a crucial role in maintaining a secure environment. They conduct routine patrols, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service. Officers are expected to be agile and reliable, embodying our values of teamwork and integrity. With a focus on communication, they interact with individuals on-site, addressing concerns and assisting as needed. This position requires individuals who are comfortable using technology, such as computers or tablets, and who have a background in customer service, enhancing their ability to engage with the public.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeTue11:00 PM – 07:00 AMWed11:00 PM – 07:00 AM

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by implementing security procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when necessary.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations with a calm and problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the commercial real estate location and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Maryland Security Professional Guard Card required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Possession of a guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
