Job Description

As a Security Officer – Driver Roving Patrol in Waipahu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will assist tenants and visitors with professional customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license per AU Driver Policy Requirements. What You’ll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and tenants by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial property.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the grounds, perimeter, parking areas, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or property damage.
  • Monitor access points and observe for unusual conditions, unauthorized persons, and/or policy violations; communicate expectations to visitors in a professional manner.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site management and/or public emergency services as directed.
  • Complete required reports and activity logs, document incidents and/or maintenance concerns, and communicate relevant information during shift handoff.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A guard card/license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
