Security Officer – TS/SCI Cleared Weekends

Allied Universal® is hiring a Security Officer – Cleared (Clearance Required – Unarmed). At Allied Universal, a Cleared Security Officer is entrusted with sensitive information and given the responsibility to protect classified information and personnel. As a Cleared Security Officer, you’ll receive specialized training in site-specific security protocols associated with your clearance level, allowing for skill development and professional growth in the security field.

Location: Aurora

Pay Rate: $28.18 per hour

Schedule: Saturday – Sunday Afternoon Shift

Allied Universal is seeking a highly skilled and reliable ClearedSecurity Officer with an active DoD TS/SCI clearance to provide professional security services in a secure environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for patrols, access control, and must have amazing customer service skills while ensuring the safety and security of personnel, assets, and classified information.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide high quality security services, safeguarding personnel, property, and information with professionalism
• Conduct patrols within and around the facility on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to ensure the protection of people, assets, and sensitive or classified information
• Greet guests and employees and escorts visitors and contractors to secure entry and exit points
• Follow site-specific performance manuals and post orders; reporting safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances via written and oral communication to client and/or other security personnel
• Respond to and assesses security alarms or emergency alarms
• Act as a first responder in emergency situations

QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):

• High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
• Able to obtain a Department of Defense (DoD) position appropriate level security clearance (national security eligibility determinations take into account a person’s stability, trustworthiness, reliability, discretion, character, honesty, and judgment)
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
• Must possess one or more of the following:
• Minimum of three (3) years of security experience on a Department of Defense-cleared site
• Prior military experience
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):

• Prior law enforcement or armed security experience
• Associate’s degree or higher In Criminal Justice, Business, or a related field
