Security Officer – Unarmed Defense Patrol

As a Security Officer – Unarmed Defense Patrol in Riviera Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and to observe for any potential issues.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and/or sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and to report any irregularities.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to site protocols.
• Communicate with Allied Universal management, site personnel, and/or emergency responders as required by the situation.
• Assist with access control procedures, verifying credentials and directing visitors or employees as appropriate for the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Hold an active Department of Defense Secret clearance.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Provide a DD214 with honorable discharge or possess an associate degree or 60 college credits or a police academy certificate or a corrections academy certificate.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
