As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Agent in Montgomery, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support tenants and visitors with outstanding customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with property management and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, including lobbies, hallways, parking areas, common areas, and perimeter locations, helping to identify unusual activity and/or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe foot and vehicle traffic, and report suspicious behavior, unauthorized entry attempts, and/or policy violations in accordance with site expectations.
• Support daily operations at a commercial real estate location by assisting with visitor directions, monitoring building activity, and completing assigned reports related to security-related incidents and/or patrol observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
