We have an opening for a SEN Teaching Assistant at a highly supportive and outstanding primary school in Newham!This lovely school offers a welcoming environment, a dedicated leadership team, and fantastic opportunities for professional development – with the chance to secure a permanent contract.Position Details:Job Title: SEN Teaching AssistantLocation: NewhamDaily Rate: £90–£105Start Date: ASAPContract: Long-termWorking Hours: 8:30 am – 4:00 pm✏️ What You’ll Do:Support the school’s SEND provision, working with children with various special educational needs.Provide 1:1 support tailored to individual student needs.Be flexible and willing to work across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.Engage students to promote their social, emotional, and academic growth.What’s Great About This School:Supportive staff and senior leadership team.Opportunities for professional development and CPD training.Potential to move into a permanent role.✅ What We’re Looking For:Previous experience working with SEN students.Strong understanding of SEN, safeguarding, and child protection practices.A genuine passion for supporting children with special needs.Flexibility to adapt to the needs of different students and classrooms.Confidence working with students who may be hyperactive or display challenging behaviours.Please note: This role requires strong knowledge of safeguarding and child protection.
