Job SummaryAn Outstanding Primary School in Ealing is seeking a passionate and experienced SEN Teacher to join their team on a full-time permanent basis starting January. - Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to meet the individual needs of students with SEN, including Autism, ADHD, or other additional learning needs.
- Develop Individual Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the SENCO, parents, and external agencies.
- Foster an inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and personal growth for all students.
- Use effective behaviour management strategies to support students’ engagement and focus.
- Provide regular assessments and progress reports to track students’ development and inform future teaching strategies.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and support whole-school SEN initiatives.
- Maintain high standards of safeguarding and child protection.
Qualifications and SkillsEssential:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Proven experience working with children with SEN in a primary school setting.
- Strong understanding of SEN strategies, interventions, and legal frameworks.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- A positive, proactive, and flexible approach to teaching and learning.
Desirable:
- Additional qualifications or training in SEN (e.g., SENDCo training, Autism awareness).
- Experience working within an Outstanding school environment..
